Usage: Montelukast sodium is indicated for the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in patients aged 12 months and older, prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction in those 6 years and older, and relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in patients 6 months and older. It is not for acute asthma attacks.
