Usage: Divalproex sodium is indicated for treating manic episodes of bipolar disorder, complex partial seizures, simple and complex absence seizures, and for migraine prophylaxis. It is not effective for acute migraine treatment and poses risks during pregnancy, particularly to women of childbearing potential.

Usage: Lamotrigine tablets are indicated as adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, and generalized seizures of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in patients aged 2 and older. They are also indicated for maintenance treatment of bipolar I disorder to delay mood episodes but are not recommended for acute episodes.
